Move Your Way: Every Step Helps a Boston in Need

Boston Terrier Rescue Canada's annual Move Your Way 2+5K raises critical funds to help rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome Boston Terriers and Boston Terrier mixes in need – all while encouraging people and their pets to get active together.

Walk, run, roll, hike, paddle, dance – or move in whatever way works for you. Complete either 2K or 5K at your own pace, in your own place, anytime during the weekend of September 19-20, 2026.

The average cost to prepare a dog for adoption is $3,400, and dogs with significant medical or behavioural needs often require much more. Every dollar you raise helps provide veterinary care, medication, rehabilitation, training, and everything our rescue dogs need before they can begin their new lives.

How It Works

  • Register for free to create your own personal fundraising page

  • Ask your friends, family, and co-workers to support your fundraiser.

  • Complete your 2K or 5K anytime during the weekend of September 19-20, 2026.

  • Share your experience on social media using #BtrcMoveYourWay

There is no minimum pledge required to participate. However, the first 100 individuals who raise at least $100 will receive a gift and be entered to win prizes from our generous sponsors.

For every additional $100 raised beyond the initial $100, you’ll receive one more entry into the prize draw.

Can’t Participate?

You can still support the event by making a a tax-deductible financial donation. Every contribution helps Boston Terrier Rescue Canada provide life-changing care to dogs who need it most.
