At just three years old, Redmond is discovering that the world is a much bigger place than he ever knew – and he’s taking it all in one adventure at a time.
He loves spending time outdoors, exploring his surroundings, and enjoying all the sights, sounds, and smells that come with family life. He’s been doing well on walks, although sudden noises and unfamiliar things can still give him a fright. Thankfully, he settles quickly and grows a little more confident every day.
Redmond doesn’t much care about Stitch, the resident Frenchie, or the family cat, but he has absolutely fallen in love with his Boston Terrier foster sister, Hazel. The two have become fast friends, and since foster mom works at a veterinary specialty clinic, Hazel and Redmond even get to accompany her to work some days!
Like many of the Boston 26, Redmond is still a little nervous, but he’s warming up beautifully. His foster family describes him as a very smart boy who picks up cues quickly and settles nicely once he understands what’s expected of him.
One thing is certain: Redmond is getting a taste of the good life – and from the look on his face, he likes what he’s discovered so far. ❤️
