Tyson’s learning to keep his cool...literally and figuratively.

This sweet three-year-old Boston Terrier mix is happiest when he’s with his people. Whether he’s curled up on a lap, following you from room to room or pawing for affection, Tyson has endless amounts of love to give!

His foster mom has been helping him beat the summer heat with pool time, but she’s also been working hard to help him feel more confident and comfortable as he adjusts to life in a multi-dog home.

Like many dogs going through big changes, Tyson’s still learning how to navigate his emotions. At times, he can become overwhelmed, and we’re still learning what he needs to feel his best. His foster mom notes that he has a lot of energy, so getting exercise has done wonders. He has an upcoming veterinary appointment to help us rule out any underlying medical factors and determine the best path forward.

One thing we’re absolutely sure of is that Tyson is in the very best hands. His experienced foster mom sees the potential in every dog and never gives up until she helps them become the best version of themselves. She considers it an honour that she has been gifted the opportunity to guide this sweet boy. ❤️

Tyson is being fostered in Leduc, AB and is not yet ready for adoption.

Welcome Tyson!

Three-year-old Tyson recently arrived in our care alongside his brother Ohtis. Tyson found some significant changes in his home environment difficult to navigate. His family loved him deeply and knew he would be happier in a quiet, adult-only home.

This handsome BT-Frenchie mix has made one thing very clear – he’s a world-class cuddler, and he expects his humans to be the same. His favourite place is wherever his human happens to be. In his mind, ‘working from home’ means providing him with unlimited lap access while you sit still for hours.

Tyson thrives in an active environment – long walks stimulate him and help him burn off energy. He’s currently living with two Boston Terriers (including BTRC alum Bertie), and while he gets along well with them, his foster family is still learning his boundaries and what makes him most comfortable in a setting with other canines.

He has a dental in the near future, and he’s decided that while he waits, he’ll enjoy some well-deserved lap time. ❤️

Tyson is being fostered in Leduc, AB and is not yet ready for adoption.
