From the very first moment Lenny’s foster family laid eyes on him, something felt right. And when they met him, there was a sense of certainty – this beautiful boy belonged with them.
Lenny settled into his foster home with such ease, and the sweet moments spent with his BT foster sister, Aggy, made it seem as if they had grown up together for years. From the very start, they were inseparable…and their parents knew they needed to make their bond official – make it forever.
We’re thrilled to announce Lenny’s adoption – though he doesn’t really understand what the big deal is. In his mind, he was already home the moment he met his dad on that drive from Ontario to Nova Scotia. ❤️
And while his family knew this day was coming, when the paperwork was signed, making it finally official, they couldn’t contain their excitement.

BTRC foster Lenny has been having a blast since arriving at his foster home. He quickly decided that his foster sister, Aggy, is his BFF and partner in every silly adventure. Playtime between these two is nonstop, and for reasons most Boston parents could never explain, they both love the snow! They’ll run, jump, roll and zoom through it like it’s the greatest invention of all time. (Sorry to all the BTs out there who are frozen in horror at this news.)
Lenny isn’t a fan of traditional nail trims, so he’s been learning to use a scratch board, and, naturally, like all BFFs, Aggy’s his emotional support, and has decided she likes it too. Now they’ve turned it into a team activity, giving themselves DIY pawdicures at home.
Life in Lenny’s foster home is overflowing with joy. His foster parents can’t get enough of this energetic duo; if you spot Lenny, Aggy is always right behind him, and if Aggy wanders off, you can bet Lenny is seconds away. ❤️

Two-year-old Lenny came from a family that adored him and wanted the best for him. Sometimes life presents circumstances that are completely beyond one’s control, and deciding to let go of a beloved family member can be one of the most selfless choices a family will ever face. Lenny’s family put his needs first and contacted BTRC to ensure he would be safe, loved, and cared for.
Since arriving in foster care, Lenny’s been doing great! He’s found the perfect partner-in-crime in his BT foster sister, Aggy. His playful, rambunctious energy is keeping Aggy on her toes – and she’s loving every second of it. ❤️
Lenny is an absolute sweetheart, and his foster family is smitten with his charm. They’re looking forward to the holidays – because Christmas with two Bostons is double the fun!
