Tux has been adopted!

Tux looks quite comfortable in his backyard oasis and it’s likely because it’s his forever home! In fact, Tux felt like he met “The One” at the beginning of June when he joined his foster family.

With his quirky personality, silly antics and love-bug vibes, Tux was quick to win over his foster mom and BT foster brother, Kodi. Always up for a hike, snuggle or good play session, Tux just fit right in! When his foster mom went on a three-day work trip and returned home, she said, “I miss the little guy so much, and honestly can’t picture life without him in it now. I don’t think Kodi will be able to picture it either.” It was time away from Tux that made her realize that he was already home. ❤

So in this case, a new forever family doesn’t mean a new address, but it does mean a new name. Tux is now Kooper. We have to agree, “Kodi and Kooper” has a nice ring to it. Congratulations to all!

Welcome Tux!

Tux recently came to BTRC because changes to his owner’s schedule meant he was left alone for long periods of time. The difficult decision was made to surrender Tux so he could get the time and attention he deserves.

This curious cutie is exploring his new foster digs and loves the fact that he has another BT in the home. His foster brother is teaching him the art of relaxing, and Tux is teaching his foster brother the art of daytime, afternoon and evening zoomies.

Though Tux is still getting to know his new surroundings, his foster mom says he’s been enjoying long walks, getting in lots of cuddles and perfecting his squirrel patrol skills.

Tux is being fostered in Montreal, QC and is not ready to be considered for adoption.
