This adorable boy was surrendered because his owner passed away. Family friends stepped in to care for him temporarily, but they wanted Oliver to find a home where he would thrive, so they contacted BTRC.
Oliver is 8 years young and has the energy and enthusiasm of a puppy! He has two young human siblings whom he adores, and he can’t get enough of their attention (the feeling is mutual ❤️). In his previous home, he lived with cats and dogs, so it seems like Oliver is an all-around gentleman.
Recently, Oliver showed his dislike of rain, and he stayed close to his foster mom until the weather cleared up. We think he may suffer from the well-known condition of “Syndroma Meltinus Bostonitis” (Melting Boston Syndrome), which is caused by the deeply held belief that he will, in fact, melt when exposed to rain. Though harmless, Meltinus is highly contagious among Boston Terriers. This is something we will keep an eye on.
Oliver is being fostered in the Greater Toronto Area and is not yet ready for adoption.
