Kiki

Kiki

Another loss for the BTRC family. Alumni Kiki crossed the Rainbow Bridge on June 13, at nearly 15 years of age.

In 2013, one of our volunteers’ mothers agreed to dog sit Kiki while her foster family was away. That short visit was all it took for Kiki to find her forever home.

Kiki, a Boston Terrier/Shih Tzu cross, had a wonderful life. We are told that at times, it felt like she received more attention from Mom than the human kids did growing up! After the heartbreaking loss of their family patriarch in 2018, Kiki became Mom’s sole companion, and their bond only grew stronger. They cherished their daily walks and cozy snuggles while watching British crime dramas together.

The family shares, “We are so very grateful to BTRC for saving Kiki and bringing her into our lives. She will be greatly missed by us all, especially by Oscar [BTRC alum] and Punkin.”

We at BTRC are also grateful that Kiki was so very much loved. Run free at the bridge sweetheart.
