Sweet Cameo has been hanging out in a very well-known (temporary) home while her foster family is away. And while she was shy at first, her new foster siblings wasted no time trying to get her acquainted with life with four other pups!
Among her new friends are BTRC foster Lucy and alum Frodo. Cameo was THRILLED to see that Frodo was a pro at one of her favourite games – Boston Bitey Face! Frodo was equally pleased to meet someone who approached the game with matched enthusiasm.
Both her foster family and temporary foster family have been working hard to help Cameo gain confidence on her walks. It’s still a work in progress, but their patience is paying off – Cameo has already gone on a few strolls and is increasing her distance each time.
Way to go, Cameo! We can’t wait to watch and share your journey. Remember, every little step you take is actually a huge stride in your progress. We are so proud of you! ❤️
Cameo is being fostered in Stony Plain, AB, and is not yet ready for adoption.
This beautiful six-year-old girl has a face fit for the big screen, don’t you think?
Cameo came to BTRC because it was clear that she needed an environment that had lots of stimulation and playtime – something that her senior siblings weren’t very interested in. And Cameo has quickly made it known to everyone who meets her – a toy must always be nearby if and when she’s ready to play. ❤️
Day by day, Cameo has been learning to trust her new world. Shy and nervous, Cameo takes some time to warm up to unfamiliar people and experiences, but with her foster mom’s gentle encouragement, she has made big strides. The human bed is now Cameo’s bed, and she’s becoming more affectionate. Walks are still a work in progress, and her foster parents are helping her build more confidence.
We’re looking forward to learning more about Cameo as she settles in…and we’re sure you’re eager to learn more too.
Cameo is being fostered in Edmonton, AB, and is not yet ready for adoption.
